Privacy

LaunchTruth is an early-stage service that independently verifies web applications against what they were intended to do. This page explains, in plain English, what we collect today and why.

What we collect

Application details you submit

Name, email address, company or project name, a description of what you built, which AI tools you used, your product stage, what worries you most, any staging or production URL, whether a test account or a specification is available, your answer to the $49 pilot price question, and your consent to be contacted.

Operational records

Application status, timestamps for when an application was received, first reviewed, contacted, qualified, accepted, rejected or paid, status history, and internal notes written by us while handling your application.

Service delivery information

Anything you choose to share with us so we can run an agreed Launch Check, such as a test account or environment details. Please never send passwords, API keys, tokens or other secrets through the public form — access is arranged separately for accepted pilots.

First-party website analytics

An anonymous session identifier stored in your browser, page path, referring website, UTM campaign parameters in the link you arrived from, which call-to-action you clicked, and a coarse device class (mobile, tablet or desktop). This is stored in our own backend and is not linked to your identity unless you submit an application, in which case the submitted application is associated with the session.

Google Ads conversion measurement

Google's site tag loads across the website and receives a conversion signal only after an application is successfully submitted. We do not send your name, email, company, application answers, test-account details or other submitted personal information to Google, and Enhanced Conversions are not enabled. Google may use browser identifiers or storage under its own policies to measure the visit and conversion.

Technical and service logs

Standard logs generated by our hosting and email providers as part of operating the site and delivering messages.

We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and the application form collects no payment information.

Why we use it

• Qualification — deciding whether an application is a fit for the founding pilot.
• Contacting applicants — replying to you, confirming scope and arranging access.
• Service delivery — performing an agreed Launch Check and producing the report.
• Improving the offer — understanding which messages and traffic sources bring suitable applicants.
• Security and operations — keeping the site working, preventing abuse, and maintaining records of what we did and when.

Browser storage and conversion measurement

Our first-party analytics stores an anonymous session identifier and campaign parameters in your browser's session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab. We also use the Google Ads tag to measure whether an ad visit leads to a successful application. Google may set or read cookies or other browser identifiers for that measurement under its own privacy terms. We do not use those identifiers to add personal details to an application record.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the service. Lovable and Lovable Cloud host this website and the database holding applications and analytics. Resend delivers email notifications and our replies to you. Google provides advertising conversion measurement; it receives the limited site-tag and conversion data described above, not your application answers. These providers process data so we can operate and measure the service. We do not sell personal data or share your application with other customers.

Retention

We keep applications and related operational records for as long as we need them to run the pilot, respond to you, and keep an accurate record of work performed. If you want your application deleted, email us and we will remove it where we are able to.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete your application. Email hello@launchtruth.com and we will answer directly.
